What if I have already accepted the DECF through Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) (but not yet submitted the other supporting documents) and I change my mind or decide not to push through with enrolling my dependent? Can I cancel?
For existing dependents: NO. Completing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) automatically confirms your dependents’ endorsement to the HMO plan.
For new dependents: YES. New dependents will only be endorsed to Intellicare for activation and issuance of ID cards once they have been confirmed via Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and have submitted all required supporting documents.
Once endorsed to Intellicare, dependents can no longer be cancelled within the policy period (until November 17, 2024), except for the following conditions:
· Employee resignation
· Death of the dependent
· Dependent has existing HMO coverage (subject to approval)
· Dependent will work/live overseas
Valid supporting documents must be submitted together with the deletion request.
