When is the effective date of my Intellicare coverage?

For existing employees, you are eligible for coverage starting November 18, 2023. For new employees, you are eligible for coverage upon regularization.

Existing Intellicare ID cards are still valid for use.

Intellicare will only issue new ID cards to new employees and dependents. While waiting for your Intellicare card, you and your dependents may avail of services by presenting Intellicare’s Certificate of Coverage (COC) along with company ID and another valid ID. You can get a copy of the COC by downloading it through www.benefitsmadebetter.com. 

The COC establishes HMO coverage in the absence of an HMO card. For employees and dependents who are confined in the hospital and will need doctor consult, this certificate needs to be secured and submitted to the hospital admin and/or presented during the consultation.
